Trimble Nomad 1050 Series

Uncategorised

Nomad1050_140x177Trimble has announced an update to the popular Nomad 900G series. The Trimble Nomad 1050 series is the next generation of ultra-rugged, feature-filled GPS handhelds. It packs faster processing power, more memory, the latest WEHH operating system and field-proven battery life to make it the best Nomad handheld yet. Perfect for mobile GIS professionals who carry out field data collection and inspection activities in tough outdoor environments, the Nomad 1050 series provides enhanced performance on a familiar industry-standard platform.

With the Nomad 1050 handhelds, users can:

  • Work productively in challenging environments on ultra-rugged IP68-rated handhelds that meet rigorous MIL-STD-810G military standards
  • Process field data faster with a powerful 1 GHz processor
  • Store substantial amounts of data and images with the Nomad’s 8 GB of built-in storage plus 512 MB Ram
  • Work for longer in the field with the 15 hour battery life that provides continuous use, even in cold temperatures

The Nomad 1050 handhelds with integrated GPS receiver offer 2 to 4 meter positional accuracy in real-time and fast time-to-first-fix, making it ideal for productive data collection in difficult conditions, such as under heavy tree canopy or next to tall buildings. It is also compatible with Trimble Mapping & GIS software to provide users with a complete field-to-office workflow solution.

If you would like more information on the Trimble Nomad 1050 series contact your local UPG office.
