The Zenmuse L3 offers an impressive 950 m detection range, even on low-reflectivity objects (as little as 10%), ensuring reliable performance in bright ambient light. Its adjustable pulse rate optimises power output for various scenarios, supporting typical flight altitudes of 300–500 m. This extends single-flight coverage, boosting mapping efficiency for large-scale surveying projects.

Small Spot, High Energy

With a reduced beam divergence of just 0.25 mrad (1/e²), the Zenmuse L3 produces a laser spot approximately one-fifth the size of the Zenmuse L2. This high precision captures fine details—like power lines and tree branches—with exceptional clarity. The concentrated energy also improves vegetation penetration, generating denser ground points for accurate terrain modelling in complex environments.

High Pulse Rate, Multiple Returns

The Zenmuse L3 delivers a maximum pulse frequency of 2 million pulses per second and supports up to 16 returns, enabling exceptional spatial reconstruction. Proprietary High-Precision System
The enhanced high-precision POS system delivers outstanding orientation accuracy, achieving 0.02° heading and 0.01° pitch precision after post-processing. Paired with a self-developed LiDAR module offering 5mm ranging repeatability at 150m and microsecond-level time synchronisation, the Zenmuse L3 ensures reliable, survey-grade results. Each unit undergoes strict factory calibration to maintain consistent performance.

LiDAR Data Accuracy
The Zenmuse L3 delivers outstanding vertical accuracy at multiple flight altitudes—better than 3 cm at 120 m, 5 cm at 300 m, and 10 cm at 500 m—meeting the demands of 1:500, 1:1000, and 1:2000 scale mapping projects with ease. It also generates a point cloud with half the thickness of the Zenmuse L2, providing cleaner, more precise data for detailed analysis and high-accuracy surveying applications.
