A day with the Trimble MX7
Recently Trimble released their new mobile mapping imaging system, the Trimble MX7, which is a vehicle-mounted photogrammetric system. Equipped with six, 5 megapixel cameras, and Trimble Applanix GNSS and inertial geo-referencing models the Trimble MX7 lets you capture 30 MP geo-referenced images at highway speeds.
When the Trimble MX7 was still in testing Trimble shipped an advanced version to Australia and the teams at UPG and MinStaff Survey took it out for a test run.
