Trimble 4700/4800 GPS Receivers obsolete
From February Trimble 4700 and 4800 GPS receivers will start experiencing erratic and unreliable behaviour for time and date reporting due to them being obsolete. As those receivers will interpret the GPS time in error by 1024 weeks, receiver data outputs will have the wrong time reference. This will negatively impact subsequent systems that are communicating with that receiver Real-Time Kinematic operation (RTK) operation is not expected to continue working properly.
Newer Trimble GPS or GNSS receivers types, including those listed below, with current firmware are not impacted.
º Trimble 5700 º Trimble R5 º Trimble R7 º Trimble NetR9 º Geospatial NetRS º Geospatial NetR5 º Trimble 5800 |
